Restoration of vintage & premium bikes
DTVM was founded in 2020 out of a long-standing love for vintage two-wheelers. In our workshop in Bavegem (Sint-Lievens-Houtem) we give classic road bikes and premium limited-edition bikes a second life: with respect for the original and with sound, modern mechanics.

How we approach a restoration

Thorough cleaning
Every bike is thoroughly cleaned and dismantled where necessary. A dirty drivetrain goes into our ultrasonic cleaning bath.

Original paint & decals
We preserve and enhance original paint and decals. We only replace or repaint when it is really necessary.

The right parts
We replace worn parts. We stock new and used parts, also for older and vintage bikes.

Lubrication and adjustment
Everything is lubricated and adjusted, so the bike rides the way it was meant to again.

25-point check
Every bike is checked on 25 critical points. You get a clear overview of what was replaced or overhauled.
