2020–2021

It started in a garage

Due Tempi Vintage Mechanics was born in 2020 out of a long-standing love for vintage two-wheelers. During the Covid period we started in a small garage in Uitbergen: mainly vintage motorcycles, but from day one also classic and vintage bicycles. In 2021 we moved to Bavegem. There a passion project grew into a real workshop, where character, mechanics and style come together.

2023–2025

A choice from the heart

In 2023 we firmly chose one direction: bikes and e-bikes. That is where our heart lies, and that is where the future of sustainable mobility lies. Until 2025 we mainly gave refurbished and nearly new quality bikes a second life, carefully checked and ready to ride. That became our signature: affordable craftsmanship in an authentic setting, with drive and passion.

2026

New bikes, made to fit

Since 2026 we also offer new bikes from Adriatica (IT) and Flanders (BE). We work on demand, because everyone deserves a bike that fits them. With the demo bikes in the shop you can test before you choose. That keeps our overheads low and our workshop rates fair.

Today

Small in scale, big in service

We deliberately choose to stay small with character, firmly rooted locally. From there we are building a European customer network, including via Buycycle. Not volume, but quality, experience and honest service come first. With us you will find a workshop where people really listen, tinker and think along with you.

2027

The future is now

The switch of 2023 is complete: our focus is entirely on bikes and e-bikes. Our service for fuel-powered two-wheelers ended for good on 1 June 2026.

The next chapter has begun: DTVM becomes DTVM Modern Classic Bicycles. From 2027 Adriatica is our main brand, together with the Italian brands MBM and Lombardo, and Flanders stays in our range. Upstairs we are creating a vintage showroom, bringing together our bikes and the Flemish cycling memorabilia that inspire us every day.

“Choosing one direction means doing it completely and doing it well.”

Classic soul, modern mechanics. That is what DTVM stands for.
